Mayford Athletic Football Club is run entirely by volunteers; some who take on a higher level of commitment through official club roles such as Club Chair, Secretary, Treasurer or Child Welfare Officer but the vast majority support us on a regular basis for a smaller number of hours.

There are a wide range of tasks that need to happen for the club to run smoothly and some examples are running the clubhouse cafe; supporting the team coaches during training; tidying up the storage units; painting walls in the Clubhouse; organising social and club events. Any amount of support is welcomed.

  • New Player Recruitment (including links to schools, pro-club, COE and Commercial Academies Liaison)
  • Memberships Secretary
  • Clubhouse Manager
  • Social Event Coordinator
  • Sponsorship, Fundraising and Grants Coordinator
  • Annual Club tour Coordinator
  • Lost Property / Second Hand Stall Coordinator

Each role can be taken on by one person or a group of people who are happy to work together. You can commit to as little or as much as you feel is right for you: any support you can give is invaluable to the club and our players.
